Chaudhvin Ka Chand Ho

Muhammad Rafi at his peak!! This marvelous song I first heard more than sixty years ago when I was around twenty years of age. I love to know the name of the great author of this song. Ever since, I have wondered about the literary grandeur of the poetic excellence in symillies carved out of the best Urdu language with Persian words smothered therein. Urdu Persian and Hindi phrases all combined in this poetry was the greatest asset of the civilization of those days of United India. The poison of communal feelings, unfortunately, robbed our community of the combined magic of the three languages.  What a grand loss!!! Will there be  a leader born to unite us again. I seriously doubt it.
