The most outstanding feature of the song is the historic match between voice and action, Rafi saab and Shammi kapoor. They were, perhaps, born for each other. It would be a grave injustice not to say anything about poet Hasrat Jaipuri saab. Notice the great romantic poetry defining love, that is enacted so magnificently with his as usual style by Shammmi ji on the screen. Rafi saab sings in his own voice, but it appears as though Sammi Kapoor were singing. Isn't it truly Rafi magic? I don't know about others but whenever I listen to Saab I cry every time...his voice is the perfect voice for everyone, if people don't know that he has sung for Kishore as well... Google it
